Our Sponsorship with Frank Warren’s new professional Boxer

We are sponsoring Tamworth boxer Ryan Hatton after turning professional with Promoter Frank Warren

We are proud to be sponsoring recently professional young Boxer Ryan Hatton who has signed with prestigious boxing promoter Frank Warren as of June 2017. Starting boxing at the ripe young age of 12, Ryan Hatton has taken his passion for boxing from the depths of an Irish boxing club in Garrets Green, to winning 6 national titles as an amateur Boxer and 2 GB Gold Medals.

21 year old Ryan Hatton, has come a long way from his Arthur Terry Senior School, from which he was expelled at age 14 for bad behaviour. With a difficult start, having moved between multiple behavioural schools throughout his teenage years; Ryan’s passion for boxing has always remained, consistently following Tamworth Boxing Club for alternative education.

In July 2017, Ryan’s boxing career soared to great new heights when his trainer, Tom Chaney set up a meeting with the highly admired boxing promoter Frank Warren. There and then Frank signed Ryan as a Light-Heavy weight pro fighter in the heart of Frank Warren HQ in Hertfordshire, the home of many successful footsteps over the years, including the likes of double Olympic Gold Medallist Nicola Adams OBE and World Champion Terry Flanagan.

In September, Ryan is set to be fighting his first professional boxing match at the Copper Box arena on the undercard of Billy Joe Saunders’ World Title defence against Willie Munroe Jr. As his very first professional fight approaches, we are preparing to see the start of a great pro career for Ryan. Having known and supported Ryan from a very young age, we are proud to be supporting his career with full sponsorship.

Ryan is currently studying at Loughborough College in his second year for sports and exercise science and also spent a large amount of time last year focused on strength and conditioning at Loughborough University through the Talented Athlete Scheme. Despite having to put his studies on hold due to the advance in his professional career, he still has a passion for understanding both the physical and mental side of sports.

Ryan Hatton is due to fight on the 16th September at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. For more information on ticket purchasing please visit https://www.seetickets.com/event/world-championship-boxing/queen-elizabeth-olympic-park/1123035
